My Aligned Path is a platform and methodology operated by Emerald Quilt LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you visit myalignedpath.ai, join our email list, or use our free chart tools, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain language because your trust matters to us.
What We Collect
- Your email address. When you join our list or open our free chart tools, we ask for your email so we can give you access and share occasional reflections.
- Information you enter into the tools. To calculate a chart you may enter a birth date, birth time, and birth place. The astrological math runs in your own browser. The birth place is the only field sent to an outside service, and only to look up coordinates and timezone. We do not store your birth details on our servers.
- Aspect selections. When you request an interpretation, the planets, signs, houses, and aspect you chose are sent to our reading service to generate the text. This describes an aspect, not your identity, and is not stored.
- Basic technical data. Standard information such as IP address and browser type, collected by our website host for security and reliability.
How We Use Your Information
We use your email to give you access to the tools and to send occasional reflections from My Aligned Path. We use the birth place you enter only to find coordinates and the correct historical timezone. We use your aspect selections only to generate your reading in that moment.
How We Share Your Information
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the tools work: a geocoding service to look up your birth place, an AI provider that writes the interpretive text, an email provider that delivers your messages, and our website host. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies and Local Storage
Our tools store a single value in your browser (local storage) to remember that you have entered your email, so you are not asked again on that device. We may use basic analytics to improve the site. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. We do not retain the birth details or aspect selections you enter beyond what is needed to return your result in that session.
Your Choices and Rights
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message. You may ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@myalignedpath.ai.
Children
Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including secured connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform grows. When we do, we will revise the date above and note significant changes on this page.
